Daniel Udry founded 100 Legal in 2020. He advises entrepreneurs, SMEs as well as multinational companies in their international transactions.

After passing the Swiss Bar exam (2000) and an early career dedicated to civil and criminal litigation, he specialised in commercial law and corporate law at the London School of Economics where he graduated with a Master of Laws (LL.M.).

In 2009, after working for one of the largest law firms in Switzerland, he co-founded 100 Rhône Avocats, which he developed for over ten years on several sites. These experiences have enabled him to acquire extensive expertise in the field of business law (banking, corporate, contracts, private equity) and real estate law.

Passionate about entrepreneurship, he is active in companies operating in different sectors, in particular in finance and fintech. He is the contributor for Switzerland to the book “Statute of Limitations in International Commercial Claims” published by Thomson Reuters (Canada).

Marie is in charge of 100 Legal in the United Arab Emirates. She was admitted to practice with the Paris Bar in 2004 and with the Geneva Bar in 2014. Marie holds a legal advisory licence in the UAE.

During this first ten years of her career, she works as a competition lawyer with, successively the Paris offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Latham & Watkins. During this time, she also serves as a legal case officer with the UK and the French competition authorities. In 2015, Marie launches her own corporate practice in Geneva, from where she develops strong business ties with the Middle East. In 2020, she joins forces with Daniel Udry of 100 Rhône Avocats in Geneva and establishes 100 Legal Advisory in the UAE.

Today, with nearly ten years of experience on the ground, Marie assists European entrepreneurs and corporations structuring their business ventures in the UAE. She assists clients in relation to company creation, acquisition, and other transactions in the region. She provides support on day-to-day legal matters in relation to corporate governance, commercial contracts, real estate, labor, and migration law. On several occasions, she has helped clients settling disputes ahead of litigation. She also represents clients in the framework of corporate and commercial arbitration proceedings. Finally, Marie assists European based clients ensuring their business operations comply with competition law rules (anticompetitive practices and merger control).

She has experience in a variety of industry sectors including healthcare, tourism, commodity trading, retail, and in relation to DeFi projects (decentralized finance).

100 Legal in the UAE has the capacity to assist clients from a practical perspective in relation to administrative and regulatory aspects including introduction to banking services, tax related and other administrative declarations, insurance, accounting services, residency/work visa processes.

Sébastien Collart has extensive experience in advising entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes. He assists various individuals and companies, both Swiss and foreign, on national and international transactions in numerous fields of business (corporate, contracts, private equity, real estate).

He read law at the University of Geneva and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2008. He then worked as a legal counsel for the Geneva government, in the department in charge of economic affairs. He joined Daniel Udry at 100 Rhône Avocats in November 2011 as an associate before becoming a partner in 2020. Sébastien Collart also qualified as a Solicitor (England & Wales) in 2018.

Sébastien Collart has developed a keen interest in fintech and focuses on the implementation of distributed ledger technology and blockchain in various fields of law and business.

He sits on the Board of a Swiss non-profit organization for heritage preservation through technology, active in various scientific, humanitarian and educational projects.

Sébastien Collart is a member of the Crypto Valley Association in Zug, the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE). As a Swiss and English dual national, he works in French and in English.

Janique Luyet practices as a notary public. She also holds a CAS in magistrature from the University of Neuchâtel (2022) and an L.L.M. in European Legal Studies from the University of Bristol/GB (2006).

After obtaining her law degree from the University of Fribourg (1997) and her notary public licence from the Canton Valais (1999), she worked for fifteen years in the German-speaking part of Switzerland as a legal counsel for the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) in Bern and for a financial services company in Zurich. When Janique Luyet returned to Valais at the end of 2015, she worked as a scientific employee in the Parliamentary Service and then as a legal counsel for the legal department of the State Chancellery. In 2024, she returned to her profession as a notary public, by joining 100 Legal as a partner.

Luc Jansen has over 30 years of experience as a lawyer and notary public. Established in Valais, he advises, assists and defends private clients and companies from all horizons.

Luc Jansen holds a law degree from the University of Geneva (1984) and specialises in the areas relating to land planning and development as well as to environmental law.

After completing internships with a law firm in Sion, the court in Sion and the Cantonal Court of Valais, Luc Jansen practised as a legal counsel for the Valais administration in the department of the environment and land use planning. In 2013, he returned to the Bar as a Partner with 100 Rhône Avocats and then 100 Legal from 2023.

He is the author of numerous specialist publications, including the Schulthess commentary on the federal acts on the protection of waters and the management of waterways, as co-editor and co-author. As a member of military justice for 21 years, he presided over the military tribunal n°2, with the rank of colonel.

Sekandar Mokhtarzada holds a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law (2015). At the University of Geneva, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in law (2009) followed by a Certificate in transnational law (2010), a Master’s degree in economic law (2011) and a Certificate of Specialisation in legal practice (2012).

After completing his legal internship, he worked as a lawyer for various law firms, including a renowned law firm specialising in business law.

Sekandar Mokhtarzada was also admitted to the New York Bar in 2016.

He joined the law firm in 2018 as an associate and was nominated Counsel in 2024.

Stephanie Kuonen obtained her Master’s degree in law (bilingual) from the University of Fribourg in 2011 magna cum laude.

From 2015 to 2019, she worked as a legal counsel for the State of Fribourg, with the Land-use Planning and Constructions Division, and with the Office for Constructions and Land-use Planning.

She joined the firm at the start of 2020 as a specialist associate.

In 2022, she obtained a DAS in sports law from the University of Neuchâtel. Her dissertation focused on the theme of transfers in football. This qualification enabled her to acquire in-depth knowledge, particularly in the fields of sports organisations (federations and clubs), contracts specifically related to sport as well as sports arbitration, which allows her to advise and ensure a strong defence of both sports organisations and athletes.

Brian Mayenfisch holds a Certificate of Specialisation in legal practice from the University of Geneva (2019). He studied law in Germany and Switzerland, at the University of Fribourg, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Law (2015) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law (2013).

First as a legal clerk at the Swiss Federal Administrative Court in St-Gallen, he then joined the firm in 2019, in the Geneva office, as a trainee lawyer and then as a lawyer after passing the Bar exam (2021).

Alexandre Schober holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Business Law from the University of Lyon II in partnership with the University of Montreal (2016).

He started his career in 2014 with a Geneva business law firm, on corporate law and contract law issues for foreign entrepreneurs and private clients. He then went on to join Marie Didierlaurent’s team in 2016. Initially based in Geneva, he supported her in developing a stream of business between Switzerland, France on the one hand and the UAE on the other. In 2019, he settled in Dubai and since then, has developed a solid expertise in corporate and commercial law aspects, both from a UAE and a European perspective, assisting a growing number of European clients with the development of their economic activities on site in the Emirates.

Alexandre Schober benefits from valuable field experience with various administrations and other local contacts, which is greatly appreciated when it comes to supporting clients in the implementation of their project. He keeps up to date in the often changing legal and regulatory framework applicable to business life in the Emirates.

Mahdieh Marjani holds a Master’s degree in accounting from Payame Noor University in Dubai (2009) and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Payame Noor University in Tehran (2003).

She started her career as an accountant and pursued this activity successively with three Dubai-based trading companies. In 2019, she joined a real estate agency as head of accounting.

Since 2021, Mahdieh Marjani assists the 100 Legal team in the UAE with accounting and invoicing. She also uses her skill set to serve newly established clients in the UAE and to assist them in particular in terms of book keeping, supervising and filing VAT returns, ensuring coordination with auditors for the preparation of audited financial accounts.
